Richard-Max Tremblay Fenêtre

The multidisciplinary artist Richard-Max Tremblay presents a new installation of thirty photographs documenting windows dating from the beginning of the 20th century. Organized according to the logic of a grid, the installation is reminiscent of an industrial building façade. The rhythm of the dusty windows evokes a minimalist artwork, while illustrating how we abandon our architectural heritage. Additionally, three photographs of windows in Barjols, France are being exhibited.

Richard-Max Tremblay’s portraits of artists taken during the last thirty years will be exhibited as of September 20, 2011 at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
